Delicious and affordable food. The owners were so sweet, and my boyfriend and I will definitely be going back to eat here! So excited they had vegan options for me:).
I am a shawarma fiend and it is quite hard to find shawarma in this area that is decent and not dry. Babylon hits it out of the park with both flavor and with meat quality. This is a great spot to fine genuine and delicious middle eastern food at a very good price. I’ve gotten both the chicken and beef shawarma. Each time, I have not been disappointed. The owners are very kind and they let us eat in the hookah lounge attached which added to the experience. This helped it to feel even more authentic!
I love this place. I am not a huge fan of felafels but I was hungry and passed by this place so thought, I’d try. My oh my, I was not disappointed at all! The felafels made their way to my heart:) Very tasty food! Sweet staff, excellent customer service and I have since returned to this place at least 2 more times after the initial visit. I am from out of town and every time I visit Lancaster, this is where I’d want to have my meals:) And that hummus…delicious!
I don't even know where to start! The atmosphere, the service, the food, the whole Aura of the place feels so authentic! I felt so special the way I was treated and the food I know was made from the heart! The lentil soup was amazing! The hummus was amazing! The chicken and rice Shawarma and the fresh pita bread and of course the tzatziki sauce!!! Mind blowing how delicious it all was! The Turkish coffee with Turkish delight is perfect for someone who loves very strong espresso! Thank you so much to Nada & Ehsan for an AMAZING experience!! Amazing, authentic Iraqi food. Highly recommend. And if you're eating there, definitely get the coffee after dinner.
First time there, the man (who appeared to be the owner) was extremely kind. Took his time to explain everything and even took us to the side to show us the food cooking. Very impressed. Food was fresh and flavors were spectacular. Will be returning for sure. Would highly recommend the Iraqi Kebab sandwich.
There is something about coming back to this place year after year. A friend who lives locally suggested it to me a few years ago and it has absolutely lived up to its expectations, I make a point to eat here whenever I'm in town- the owner is friendly and patient as I figured out what I wanted to order and the food was absolutely delicious. I ended up with one of their 2 person meals, and the labneh was absolutely divine. This place is an absolute must eat in Lancaster!
We have a holiday house in Lancaster and always looking for a halal place. Wanted to try this place few times, today made it here. As soon as you enter, you are greeted with the owner lady’s ever smiling face. Ordered the Duo -1 , honestly one of the most moist and yummiest kebab I have ever had. All the platters were super well done in flavor and taste . No wonder this place is so highly rated. 5 from me on all categories! Love this place and will come again and again for sure.
Very good and authentic food! We got two of the sandwiches, and they were delicious and seasoned well. The service was friendly as well, and prices were reasonable. Note, this is mainly pickup - there are a few seats outside of the facility, and also in the hookah lounge next to it.
Small place, easy to walk by since it’s inside a building. Extremely good food. It’s a little pricey but I think it’s worth it if you enjoy this type of cuisine. Got the lamb kebab platter w/ rice. Made to order and seasoned well. They gave a pomegranate carbonated drink which is good. Reminds me cola champagne. Recommend it and will be back
